Barktoberfest 2014 is almost here! Barktoberfest is New Port Richey's largest pet adoption event and fundraiser for local animal shelters. Presented for the past seven years by Paw Wash Plus, the Platinum sponsor is Friendly KIA, Gold Sponsors are Toni Weidman, Re/Max Sunset and Camping World, Stay At Home Companion and Blaesing & Diaz, Attorneys are Silver sponsors.
Barktoberfest will be held at Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey along with a Classic Car Cruise In at Orange Lake. The registration fee for a classic care at the Cruise-In is a 10lb (or more) bag of cat or dog food to be donated to the animal groups present at Barktoberfest.
Bartoberfest will have lots of vendors selling pet related accessories and non-pet items. There will be costume contests for the dogs, and the dogs and their owners, lots of music, food, and entertainment, Treble Hook will return to entertain us again.
Please join us at Barktoberfest and stop by and say Hello. You will find Kim and John Crane, the owners of Paw Wash Plus zipping all over keeping things running smoothly and we will be over by the Cruise-In making sure everyone is bright and shiny.
