Drip E-mail Campaigns

Are you utilizing drip e-mail campaigns to keep your leads properly engaged? If not, consider these reasons why you should:

  • Drip e-mails regularly keep your name and face in front of your leads.
  • Drip e-mails can be tailored to focus on what your lead is interested in (short sales, foreclosures, first-time buyers, move-up buyers, first-time sellers).
  • Drip e-mails, when customized specifically for your niche, can provide a source of information for leads that put you at the head of the pack as an expert in your area.
  • Once written, drip e-mail messages can then be utilized as rotating tips on your website or in your newsletter.
  • Once written, drip e-mail messages can be utilized over and over again, for as long as you need or want the campaign - giving you a huge return on your investment of time to initially create the campaign.

Remember, a good drip e-mail campaign is not canned. So, take what you've received as standard in Top Producer, Lead Street, Rainmaker, Homegain, or any other real estate service program that you may be using and make it your own. That means, even if someone is receiving the same drip campaign you are using through Top Producer from another agent in your area, they will never receive the exact same e-mail. By the way, this will also continue to promote you as the expert in the area! You can't beat that!

I've never used a drip campaign and I'm reluctant to do so. I just think personally that receiving all of those emails would be tiresome.

That's why you have to tailor it specifically to your audience. Does your audience want e-mails from you (or anyone else) every day? Probably not. But if your drip e-mail campaign is for people on the verge of foreclosure, they may want to hear something from you at least once a week, simply because of the urgency of the situation. And remember, you don't just send e-mails to people willy-nilly. You're sending them to people who have specifically requested that information from you. They need it. It's your responsibility to use it wisely though. Let me know if you ever want to talk about what a drip e-mail campaign could look like for your audience!
