Did you ever think getting lost was fun? Probably not. But there IS one place where it can be.
Plasko’s Farm, 670 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull CT is back with its annual corn maze for a good cause.
For each brave soul who ventures through the maze, Plasko's will donate $1 for St. Vincent's SWIM across the Sound. Since 2001, the farm has donated more than $90,000 to the worthy cause. SWIM benefits cancer survivors and promotes cancer education and research.
Think you might get lost through the one and one-half miles of paths? You are probably right. There will be 'corn-cops' stationed at strategic points throughout the maze to help those who have taken the wrong turn or are caught in a continuous loop of going nowhere fast.
Wear comfortable shoes and plan on spending at least 30-45 minutes to make your way through the twists, turns and dead ends.
The maze is open to the public on Fridays from 3 p.m. to dusk; Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to dusk until Monday, Nov. 3.
Schools, organizations and groups of 12 or more may book a time slot from Monday to Friday at 2 p.m. Call or email plaskosfarm@aol.com for rates and bookings. 203-268-2716
