Don't miss the third annual Ellicott City Main Street Music Fest this Saturday, September 20th! The fun starts at noon with the music going until 8pm on stages set up throughout historic Ellicott City!
It's the third year for this amazing festival which includes tons of free live music (over 80 bands played last year), kids activities and lots of food and drinks!
There are outdoor music stages (Wine Bin Parking Lot, Lot behind Tourism Building) and indoor venues too (The Phoenix, La Palapa, Cacao Lane, Judge's Bench and the Diamondback Tavern).
Great food will be available throughout the festival including in the restaurants of course! Don't miss the craft beer gardens sponsored by Heavy Seas, DuClaw, Ellicott Mills Brewing Co, and Union Craft Brewing.
Kids activities are on the schedule from noon to 5pm. Special story times will take place in the Thomas Issac Cabin (by the Wine Bin parking lot) along with historic artifacts and info!
Stars Wars fans - check out the Jedi Knight Battles in the Wine Bin parking lot. Word on the street is that you'll see Star Wars characters and superhero's walking through the festival all day!
Parking can be tight in Ellicott City - especially as the day goes on so this year you can take a free shuttle from Kelsey's Irish Pub on Route 40 to the event. The shuttle departs from Kelsey's every hour on the hour (plan accordingly) and for a quick 3 minute ride to the festival.
Ellicott City is just a few minutes from Catonsville and Columbia and the weather looks great so bring the family or get a babysitter and prepare to enjoy yourself! Don't miss the third annual Ellicott City Main Street Music Fest this Saturday, September 20th!
