Here they is an honest-to-goodness real rendering of the latest design-forward building in the planning stages for the Miami Design District, straight from the developer, Dacra. The tower is the new Sweetbird South Residences being designed by Studio Gang Architects.

We know the drill here, cool arty residences above retail mixed nicely into the ever so chic design district which is basically from Midtown to the mid 40's. Look for this one to shoot up fast once everyone agrees on the final plans.

Marco, this is a very interesting building sketch and it looks like something from a SiFi movie and space creatures home. It certainly will be noticed once completed.

I will be looking forward to the final draft of the plan. I kind of like the uniqueness of the look. Upon closer inspection it looks like they even took the time to put curtains in the windows, which adds to the curvy line look.

What I like most about this architectural design is that it reminds me of the waves in the ocean. People come from all over the world to Miami's white sandy beaches to watch the waves. Now if they can own a piece of one of the new Sweetbird South Residendences that would be be very chic indeed!
