This was a great post of Judith Parker's to reblog this evening. But, she has so many and quite a few of them fairly recently that I would have really enjoyed sharing with you. But, unfortunately, they were members only posts, and, why they were I don't know.

But, this was an important post to share with you.....and you should share with those you know and love, too.

Please thank Judith for the information that you now know and will keep in mind, especially as holiday shopping season is fast approaching!

Always be aware of your surroundings ... safety comes first!!

There are always scam artists out there watching and waiting for you to let your guard down. With holiday shopping upon us and everyone preoccupied and in a hurry it is so easy to get caught in a scam.

Someone shared this with me today and I thought I would share with everyone here on ActiveRain. Please read it and share with friends and family.

Here is the story as it was related ..

"A friend of ours daughter was coming out of Wal-Mart recently and while she was walking to her car she noticed that a couple of guys were "watching"her, she got into her car and locked her ...doors. As she was leaving she saw what appeared to be a $100.00 bill on her windshield, she was smart enough not to get out of her car at the time because she remember a email sent to her not that long ago about people putting something on your windshield and when the person gets out to retrieve it they are car jacked.............Here's a pic of the fake money.... please be careful !!!"

This is a great choice for a re blog. Years ago my daughter and I were attacked at a Walmart. I remember it well. This man in a big pickup truck tried to block my car as it sat parked. He pulled up to us as we were putting our things in the car. I jumped in the car...yelled at Sierra to do the same, and thank God for electronic locks. I had us locked in while the guy was banging on my window. I managed to get my car around his pickup truck and I was out of there. I called the police and had a great description of the truck and the man, but they didn't seem to care.
