Perfect Blend of Open Houses in Sacramento and Elk Grove

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

An agent who works outside of Sacramento called a few days ago to say she won't be in the area for our Sacramento open houses on Sunday, but was hoping a member of my team could show her buyer on Saturday a few homes in Land Park. She explained that she did not have a lockbox display key so she could not access the homes her buyer wanted to see. Sure, we would help her out, I offered.

Imagine our shock, though, when in the middle of viewing those homes, the agent's buyer announced that she has no intention of buying any homes, she simply wanted to see them. What? Does she think we work for the state of California and we provide a free public service for inquiring minds? I shouldn't pick on the state because my husband is starting his new job there tomorrow.

But you can read more in my personal blog today, and see all of the photos, too, of my assortment of open houses in Sacramento and Elk Grove for today.

I would have not been too happy with that, especially since she was just "looking". I know we get this from buyers - but from an agent?

That curb appeal and description of the Quail Ridge in Elk Grove has my attention.

Nice one, Elizabeth.  I wonder if this buyers agent was aware of her intentions?

Elizabeth, that is just WRONG!  Wonder if the Buyer's Agent knows this piece of information too?  Did she set you up?

Sharon Paxson You're telling me. It was weird all around.

Joan Cox I don't know if the buyer's agent knew the buyer had no intention of buying  a home. When I talked to her, it sounded like she was hoping to buy. Hard to say. People are strange.
