Those of us in the real estate business understand what a "walk through" is and when it is done. For any unfamiliar with the term, it refers to a short assessment of a property and its state just before going to the closing table. It does not involve a complete nuts and bolts look but just the highlights.
I am not buying a house but rather my "walk through" refers to my ActiveRain experience. The "closing" refers to my million point mark scheduled in my plans for tomorrow.
This points plateau (I know points are not really important) has taken longer for me than many others. Much like my Master's degree it took a while but finally arrived.
Now my "walk through" assessment. I like what I see.
I posted my first blog post seven and a half years ago on March 13, 2007. Although not a prolific blogger compared to many on here, I have published 863 posts (deleted a lot more that never went public).
I have been fortunate to have 34 featured posts. The single post with the most comments received was 126 while the most most viewed had 42,167 views. I have left more than 25,000 comments and received more than 8,000.
Through it all I have learned more than you will ever know. I have met some really great folks along the way. There are some areas that need updating, upgrading and improving.
All of these statistics reflect something good... my ActiveRain experience.
The walk through has been good. I am ready for my closing.
Bring on the second million!
