Fall Yard Clean-Up

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Referral Group Incorporated

When the season allows I love to work, in and around the yard. Fall is my favorite season but it is a busy one. Cleaning up the remnants of the flowers and the plants, and the blooms and trees is a big job, but like most of the tasks having to do with the garden, is rewarding once it is done. I spent a couple of hours today, a few yesterday and will work at it for the rest of the week. Next week, the third re-do of my home begins and I won't be able to work with so much going on. Now is my time and I'm hitting it hard.

Thank goodness we don't get a lot of leaves in the fall.  Our trees just aren't very big.  In fact this year, I'm having our cherry tree dug up and will be replacing it with an american fringe tree.

I'm fortunate that I have a lawn guy, that mows, blows and goes.  He comes once a week.  I did a considerable amount of the more extensive stuff in my yard this year.  I'm actually looking forward to autumn, putting a log on the fire, curling up on the couch with a good book, and having it rain. . .Gosh, I hope it rains!

Remember to throw those weeds seeds and leaves somewhere other than your compost pile, Sheila.  You  are the true gardener.....like souls again.  Save some Ben-Gay for another week down the road, too!

It hasn't hit here yet but one can feel the change in the air.  Glad I'm moving to flat ground.

Good morning friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offering your support: I really appreciate it.

Hello Chris Ann. Sounds like some serious planning. Where will the Cherry Tree go?

Hi Myrl. What a terrific expression: mows, blows and goes. I love it. I have a lawn guy too, but I have plenty to do anyway with the dispersal of my potted annuals everywhere. thank you.

Hello Ron. Good point. I do enjoy the process and the results, seen over time are very rewarding. Yes, we have much in common. :)

Hi Tammy. My mums were bought and planted about a month ago and now are blooming. Go get yours.

Hi Joe. Yes, it is that time. Thank you.

Hello James. Did you buy a new home? I knew you were selling but you bought or you're just planning? Thanks.

Thanks all.

Sheila
