Hi, my name is Rob and I am a caffeine addict.  It has been...about 30 seconds since my last fix.  I know how cliche this is, for a Seattle professional to talk about all the caffeine they consume, but its true.   Evey year at about this time I force myself to detox from the evil drug.  Between the 8 hours of grey we get in the winter that passes as daylight, and springtime seasonal allergies, by this time each year I am hopelessly hooked on 5+ doses of caffeine each day.  Espresso, office drip, diet coke, and before you know it my left eyelid is twitching.  On Saturday, I started this years Detox.  Four days later I am happy to say the headaches are under control as is the sensitivity to light and irritability.  My apologies to all those who suffered through the past few days with me.  I can't say I am fully reformed.  I have though been able to limit myself to decaf at the barista stands and only one caffeine dose a day.  Much better then before.  For all of you still struggling, have faith.  One day at a time.  You can make it too.  I am living proof.
