I always think with today's busy world I am thankful for
A Happy Childhood.
Playing outside more, climbing trees, chasing the ice cream truck down the block, slower times, not instant everything with media.
I do think with pocket computers, especially playing games, today's youth by parents needs to STRONGLY enforce time on these machines, teaching BOUNDARIES. That throwing a ball around, getting your knees skinned, riding a bike, READING, all are important besides hours of blasting things on a little screen.
Kids CAN HAVE a rich childhood STILL, maybe richer than the GOOD OL'DAYS, but it does take some excellent parenting. BE THE PARENT, not the friend to children. Let them have a wonderful childhood too.
