Pflugerville Home for Sale - Meadows of Blackhawk - $195,000

I just listed a home around the corner from my house today.  I expect it to sell pretty quickly at the price we set.  The sellers really don't want to leave this area, but they have a job opportunity elsewhere in Texas.

If you are interested in this home or in making a move to the Austin, Texas vicinity, please give me a call anytime at 512-796-7653 or email jason@austintexashomes.com.  I hope to have the opportunity to help you find the right place.  Thanks!

Here are some of the primary features of this home, which is priced at just $195,000:

  • 4 Bedrooms + Study w/French Doors
  • 2.5 Bathrooms
  • 2411 Square Feet per tax records
  • Built in 2001
  • Two-story ceilings in Family Room
  • Brick hearth fireplace
  • Granite Countertops
  • Pecan Cabinets
  • Mobile island in kitchen will stay
  • Covered Patio
  • Full Sprinkler system
  • Close to neighborhood amenities (pools, basketball, playground, clubhouse, workout facility)

All I can say is WOW! Won't even get a 500 sq. ft. townhouse here for that price...you're right...I do believe it'll sell quick...well taken care of.

Sally - I am sure this looks ridiculously cheap compared to Hawaii prices.  Thanks for stopping by!

You've just gotta love Texas real estate.  Where else can you get so much for the money and still live in a nice neighborhood?

04/01/2008 04:53 PM by AMANDA HALL*Broker*HALL TEAM HOMES* FORT WORTH REAL ESTATE (Serving all of DFW and surrounding areas within N Texas)

Amanda - Agreed.  From what I have seen around the country, the value in Texas is second to none.  Thanks for your comments!

That certainly looks like a deal from my perspective!  Can't find that around here at 2 or 3 times the price.  Curious how personal property taxes compare,  depending on the town in my area I would expect the local real estate taxes to be in the $6,000-$8,000 annually.

04/01/2008 05:29 PM by Dan Cummings - Connecticut's Running Realtor (Raveis Real Estate)

Dan - Property taxes in Texas are pretty high, since we have no personal state income tax.  The taxes for this home would be in the $5500 range.

I'd buy it myself if I could pronounce Pflugerville.

If I buy it, can I come work for you? Looks great - hope it goes quick for you!

AUDREY - It's easy - phonetically, it's "FLOOGERVILLE".

SHEREE - Yes.  You are hired.

Beautiful home! You couldn't get a decent one bedroom shack for that around here. Good luck and congratulations on the beautiful new listing. Tell the sellers nice job on decluttering!

CHARITY - They did an excellent job of making it "stage ready" before I even met with them.  They are pros!

I am surprised everyone doesn't move to Texas... We have such nice, large homes at such reasonable prices!

SHIRLEY - I think some people can't stand the heat in the summertime.  Otherwise, we would see an incredible boom here.
