Halloween Happenings in Essex County, New Jersey 2014
I love the chilly nights, the changing leaves, Fairfield Falcons and West Essex football season, pumpkin pie and of course, Halloween.
Here's a list of some of Halloween Happenings in Essex County, New Jersey 2014:
- Looking for the scare of your life? Beginning October 3rd, New Jersey's scariest and most interactive Halloween attraction is at Bane's Haunted House, 630 Route 10 West, Livingston New Jersey.
- Verona is kicking off the Halloween spirit with its Villain Party at Kip's Castle this Friday, October 10th from 6:00-9:00. Take pictures with your favorite villains like Darth Vader, Cruella DaVille and many more. This event it free.
- Fairfield's Tunnel of Terror isn't just for dares and scares but also for all your Halloween decorations. For the Halloween spirit, the Fairfield Garden Center has rides and food the kids too. The Tunnel of Terror open 7 days a week beginning September 19th is located at the Fairfield Garden Center, 445 Route 46 West, Fairfield, New Jersey.

Fairfield Farms, 177 Big Piece Road, Fairfield New Jersey offers fall family fun with hayrides, pumpkin picking, corn maze, children's play hay area and birthday parties! Don't leave the farm without your mums, cornstalks, hay and additional fall decorations. Fall hours run from September 20th to November 2nd. - Come out of The Den for Stadium of Scream at Newark Bears Stadium on October 18th -21st , 25th -28th and 31st from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Don't settle for the same old tricks this Halloween. Treat your family to Halloween Magic by Master Illusionist David Caserta at Haunted Illusions at New Jersey Performing Arts Center on October 26th.
- Ride the scary and not so scary train and explore night creatues at Spooky Zoo at Turtle Back Zoo on October 24th and 25th.
- On October 25th learn about the Creatures of the Night at Cora Hartshorn Arboretum in Short Hills. The home page shows the wrong date but if you click on the calendar it shows October 25th as the date for the Creatures of the Night. I would recommend calling them to confirm date and registration 973-376-3587.
- Halloween Party at Fairfield's Funtime Junction on Saturday OCtober 25th from 6-9. $20 for unlimited rides, 10 tokens, slice of pizza and soft drink. Costume contest with prizes.
