Got my Flu Shot…….

I decided this morning today would be the day. Seems like only yesterday that I got my last shot, but that may have been because I needed many shots for South Africa, and then my doctor advised a shingles shot as well. In any event, I went to CVS and filled in a lot of forms and then waited. That's what happens today, you wait for everything and I'm not good at it. When you are of a certain age, and I am, you get impatient and you can elect a stronger shot. I got both. I am not hurt, or sick or done in, and now I am ready for winter.

Have an investor/friend and he is fighting shingles for over 2 years now, and it is realy tough for him, so we went and did the shingles shot.

I haven't had any kind of vacinations since I was in college and it was mandatory.  I've never had the flu either.  One of these years I might start, but for now I choose to keep my immune system ramped up.

Hi Sheila,  I haven't had a flu shot in decades, but I have a checkup appointment next Tuesday and I will be getting the Shingles and flu shots.

Hello Jon. The Shingles Shot was expensive but it was well worth it in my view to keep the disease away. I too know people who have suffered its effects. No easy fix. Flu is something I have done for years.

Hi Tammy. Hey, I wish you and your immune system well. Everyone is free to decide about the shot. I am traveling again next month, and I wouldn't chance it otherwise. I had a younger friend get the flu last year and she was really sick for weeks. Enjoy the night.

Flu shot tomorrow and shingles next week. The good news is that Medicare takes care of the flu shot so getting older has its privileges.

Hi Joe. Yes Medicare does cover the flu shot, but the Shingles isn't completely covered. That said I didn't hesitate. Enjoy the evening.        Sheila
