Maui Kombucha in Haiku Maui, Aloha Aina Center
This little shop in the back of the building is still a hot spot for Maui kombucha fans. Drive around back where there's lots of parking. The Haiku Town Center is now called the Aloha Aina Center, and it's still located at the intersection of Haiku Road and the bottom of Kokomo Road in Haiku Maui. This converted pineapple cannery is home to a variety of local small businesses, including a lot of restaurants, a yoga studio and a fitness center. Rising Sun Solar is in the front corner.
The friendly staff at Maui Kombucha will welcome you with some samples of the daily brews. Today I tasted 3 flavors and they were all very good! Each one had a unique sweetness and boquet. The ingredients are locally grown. You can even mix them together for your own custom blend.
- Lilikoi (passion fruit)
- Lemongrass/Lime
- Ginger
Bring your own quart or gallon jar if you want to take some home. Drink at the bar, and order something to eat as well. There's a couple of tables inside, and a pretty good selection of raw food items. Check out the menu, other locations, and more on the Maui Kombucha website.
