One of the really cool things that I have always loved about Stevens Point is that you are never far from a church.
We have numerous denominations and something for all to enjoy, but today I will limit my scope to the numerous Catholic parishes.
The Catholics have a long and blessed history in our county, since it was settled by Polish Catholics back in the 1800's and many of the parishes are still very proud of their Polish heritage. one of our parishes even has a priest from Poland.
