The expression, "Birds of a Feather Flock Together" you can see all around you in life. People with similarities, people with common interests. They are quirky like you, they have the same weirdnesses.
Whether friends, some of your family, business or hobby associates you spend more time with, PAY ATTENTION to these birds of a feather people.
You will come away thinking, THAT ONE GETS ME.
It is good in our mix of everyone to have completely opposite than you people to share ideas and learn from. But the birds of a feather types probably make you laugh louder, are sarcastic to your face and you don't even mind, are are just these "little oasis" people you need to park yourself next to as one of your "shelters" from the world.
In nature similar species "birds of a feather" congregate. They know as prey they will not be eaten by their own kind. That shelter thing again.
The better you know your own idiosyncracies the better you can see them in others having that same trait.
