They're Called Birds Of A Feather For A Reason

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

SeagullsThe expression, "Birds of a Feather Flock Together" you can see all around you in life. People with similarities, people with common interests. They are quirky like you, they have the same weirdnesses.

Whether friends, some of your family, business or hobby associates you spend more time with, PAY ATTENTION to these birds of a feather people.

You will come away thinking, THAT ONE GETS ME.

It is good in our mix of everyone to have completely opposite than you people to share ideas and learn from. But the birds of a feather types probably make you laugh louder, are sarcastic to your face and you don't even mind, are are just these "little oasis" people you need to park yourself next to as one of your "shelters" from the world.

In nature similar species "birds of a feather" congregate. They know as prey they will not be eaten by their own kind. That shelter thing again.

The better you know your own idiosyncracies the better you can see them in others having that same trait.

Embrace your "birds of a feather" person, people, or group often and it will strengthen you in a world that is always trying to root out the special things that make you, well, YOU!!

I believe that real estate should be lumped into a psychology degree. It is so often that I learned that we can't put people in cubbyholes everybody is an individual even if they all look alike or dress alike they still have likes and dislikes that make them unique.

Gary, I have a few long-time friends. Over the years we have grown apart and do not have much in common any more. BUT, we love each other and are always there for each other when needed. Some connections just cannot be broken. Reminds me of rare times when wild animals will mother another species that they would normally eat. Life is precious - isn't it?

Gary, I enjoyed this post. Did you see the second bird in the photo? it's screaming, "Get me out of here!" It doesn't realize, it could just go.
