Beautiful Day in Payson, Arizona!

 

It got chilly last night, can feel a major sudden climate change and we had a really bad Storm over the weekend with Rain, Thunder and Lightning. The Sky lit up with Lighting, Streets were Flooding and the Thunder noise rocked Payson loud, like the sky was "Angry". Woke up this morning though to this Beautiful Sunny Day, like the Sky is "Happy" again....It is absolutely Beautiful here! We are approaching Winter soon, and frequent Storming. But for now, if you are close to Payson, AZ, the Beautiful Rim Country, come enjoy it quickly. Take advantage now while the Temp. is perfect during the day and the Sun is shining.

Yeah, it got nasty down in the valley in many areas.  It came on really quickly. This has been a great monsoon season for rainfall which was definitely needed but man some of these storms, just WOW

BTW do you ever eat at Misfitz260 cafe up there? I haven't been there but I used to work with the owner's daughter.  I here it's great.  I played a major role int he naming of that establishment

Yes, Mike. The Monsoons have been really crazy lately and have hit so sudden. I remember a couple weeks ago it was all over Fox 10 News showing cars being stuck and flooding on the Freeways even and they advised those at home to just stay at home because the Storm was so heavy. They say that was the 1st time in History for Phoenix.  And it was pretty bad up here too, in Payson. And over the weekend.  It is Beautiful today though!

Yes, Mike I've eaten there. It's a great place! So interesting you played a role in the naming of it. It's been a while since I've been in there but maybe they have your picture on the Wall. They do that with some Locals.
