The Foundation for Early Learning is holding an Open House at Mr. & Mrs. Cook’s privately owned museum in New Port Richey. This is a rare treat as the museum is privately held and normally by invitation only. Mr. Cook is a member of the Foundation’s board. The event is Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 11am to 4pm.
A family-friendly event, the museum holds approximately 30 antique cars and hundreds of other antiques including car parts, engines including a hemi-cutaway, radios, victrolas, wurlitzers, cameras and gas pumps. It is amazing and it's right here in New Port Richey, FL
And what's even more amazing: this event is free to the public but donations are encouraged to support the Foundation for Early Learning's mission of promoting the importance of high quality early education within Pasco and Hernando Counties.
There will be free refreshments and don't miss out on the special soft ice cream that Mr. Cook makes from his ice cream machine. Mr. & Mrs. Cook are charter members of my car club AACA-Port Richey and our club will be there to help with questions and serving.
Where is the museum located? on the grounds of Component General, Inc.
2445 Success Dr., Odessa, FL 33556. (Turn in at Pappas Ranch off SR 54).
