Who searches on line for homes most often? Is it men or women.
Who is most likely to visit their social media sites and notice you or your homes for sale posts? Is it men or women?
I don't know the answer to that, and you might not know either, but Neil Patel, of Quick Sprout, recently did a study to see which social networking sites were used most by men and by women. His findings might help you decide where best to spend your social networking time.
Shows women are more the visual I think. Interesting infographic.

I suspect that what people use depends on the ease with which one can participate.
Each barrier one must get through to participate decreases the number dramatically. Which should be a lesson to providers but, not surprising is not.

Lenn - I hadn't thought about that, but I expect you're right. The same could be said for some agent's blogs. If I have to go find my user name and password to sign in and comment, I just don't bother.

Tammie White - I do wonder how he got his statistics, but some of it makes sense. Only business people are probably on LinkedIn, and nearly everyone I know who raves about Pinterest is artsy-craftsy.
I only wonder what they mean by "use" because I have a Facebook account but seldom go there. I'm surprised about You Tube, because so many people say "everyone" loves videos.

Those are some interesting numbers. google plus is more Techie and I suspect that is why it is heavy duty guy territory. I know I am a Pig! :) But guys do tend to be more into that I think.
