Feng Shui for the Single Man Looking to Attract a Great Partner

There are many components to this from a Feng Shui perspective. If you are a single man looking to attract a great partner perhaps keep these Feng Shui tips in mind when arranging your room. Step into the mind of what another person may want to be greeted by when you welcome them into your home.

  • Please be mindful of your clutter. Create a soothing view of your space that is open and clear for that potential loved one.
  • Emotionally, ask yourself are you emotionally available? Have or are you willing to work on yourself to learn and grow from past relationships that didn't pan out? Every time you engage in an intimate relationship, you are presented with an opportunity to expand your mind, spirit and heart. Our partner is here to help teach us while also have fun of course.
  • As men like to put it, 'where the magic happens,' please try and keep that space clear of past relationship items and photos. It's not romantic so see that as a new potential partner. In fact from an energy standpoint it's a bit intruding with your potential new relationship. Objects do carry energy, so learn to be present with that given person and let go of the past.

This is  a very personal process and some will argue having items of the past is no big deal.  Yet, I suggest you pay attention to how your potential partner feels, especially if the relationship becomes more evolved. I just had this conversation with a client today about her husband holding onto his past spouses items and the energy felt unsettling to her.

  • When addressing your home, consider placing items in two's or pairs. Keep this suggestion simple and you can implement this suggestion in your bedroom.
  • If you would like to try this idea, some of my clients will create a list of key characteristics and qualities they have in mind for their ideal mate. You are creating an intention of foundations that you both can build from with each other.
  • Get out there and date yourself. What the heck does that mean? It is simply saying when you engage in activities that make you happy, your spirit will thrive and begin the process of attracting a great partner. Does it mean they will love everything you enjoy doing?  Perhaps not, yet they can be a supportive energy for your interests and you with theirs. You may be able to gift them with a new perspective on something that interests you and the same with them to you.

What a fun-filled read, with great insights and even though I'm not "dating" (or a man) I can see how these tips can be helpful for me, as well.

Great post for any single people out there on both sides.  I think most of us are married on ActiveRain but there are still tidbits here that can apply.

Laura,

Would these principles hold true for the single woman as well?  I'd think so, but since you didn't call this post "for the single person", I thought I'd ask.

Laura Cerrano I always enjoy your posts.  I must say that I agree with Claude Labbe , these principals apply to the women as well.  I have seen more women hold on to belongings and photos of past relationships.  If you are not willing to let go of what was, you will not have room for what is to come.

Hey all, yes this post can be switched around for the ladies as well. I will create one that is more geared to the ladies with some more emotional insights as well. That post should be intresting and we will cover topics that many tend to shy away from.

Laura, what a terrific post to embrace! I loved the "dating yourself" part. I found that when I gave up looking, and truly enjoyed my own company, PERIOD, my husband-to-be came along!

What a great post!  We write about real estate and places, but we never write about how that may affect a relationship.  Your thoughts make a lot of sense, especially about energy and dating yourself.  If you can look in the mirror and honestly reflect as to the person you are, then you'll know if you're ready!
