Palos Verdes horse properties

Rolling Hills, California offers some of the best equestrian estates in Southern California.  The gated city of Rolling Hills is located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  The coastal setting offers not only miles of riding trails but also some incredible views of the California coastline. With over 30 miles of riding trails it's easy to ride for miles without using the same trail twice.

Rolling Hills Estates is also one of the prime horse property locations in Palos Verdes.  Several neighborhoods offer riding rings, trails and other horse friendly amenities.

The unincorporated area of the Palos Verdes Peninsula also offers horse properties, as does certain areas of Rancho Palos Verdes.

Hay is definitely for horses, and it sounds like Rolling Hills and the Palos Verdes Peninsula are great places for horse owners to live.

Hay is also for fall decorating!  Not sure why but I love seeing stacked hay!

I know my comment has nothing really to do with your post, but the title of your post reminded me of my Dad. That's something he would say to me when I would say HEY to him!

Hi Norma... I would truly love to explore the Rolling Hills and Palos Verdes Peninsula! Drove though a long time ago, it's certainly beautiful! Drove to Idaho a few weeks back from Seattle. It was fun to see the all the hay bales piled up and the barns stuffed to the max after harvest in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho...

Hi Norma, The Rollings Hills area along with the horse farm estates really are so beautiful. Here in the San Diego, we have Fairbanks Ranch and provides some of that same elegance.

Hi Norma,

There's something about horses that goes straight to my heart. They need room to roam and plenty of hay. Whenever I hear about a drought, I immediately think about the animals that depend on food and water. Horses on a rolling hills estate is one of the most beautiful sights in the world!

William - I think it surprises many people to find equestrian properties in Los Angeles County.

I'm not familiar with Fairbanks Ranch but I'll bet I'd love it.

Patricia - Horses are so regal and elegant, and yes, they do require a lot of water. When I was in Egypt I was told anyone can afford a camel, but only the very rich can afford to keep horses--water is a scarce commodity in the Sahara.

Good evening Norma. But you don't understand! Down South, we say hey! Most other parts of the country say hi. Yes, I do agree with you that hey is for horses.

Michael - There some "hey" going on in LA as well, but the hay in the photo is definitely for horses.
