Folks out there want to paint a picture that getting a home loan is a difficult process and that it's stressful, but the truth is that the entire process really isn't that bad. There are a few things you need to know when you want a Blue Springs Home Mortgage.
When you've finally made the decision to move your family from the renting lifestyle and you're ready for your Blue Springs Home Mortgage and that is an exciting thing. 1. Pre-approval starts the process.
When it comes to buying a home and getting a mortgage, most people mistakenly think that the house hunt is the first thing to do, but it's really not. House hunting is the 'sexy' part of the process, it's the part that everyone loves (if it doesn't last too long!) What you really should know before you begin this part of the process is how much you can be *conditionally* approved to purchase. Simply put, you need to know what your housing budget will be. Most companies (inlcuding ours) can get you pre-approved online through an application (here's a link to our pre-approval application.)
2. We need a lot of information.
Once you've found the house and we've gotten a copy of your contract for the house, comes the part that can potentially be the most stressful. We like to call it the "Getting Financially Naked" phase of the process. It's the part of the process where we need to look over nearly every detail of your finances to prove all the stuff you've told us in your pre-approval process. Why do we need all this stuff when you want your Blue Springs Home Mortgage? Well, we're about to loan you a large amount of money, and we don't want you to get foreclosed upon and we want to make sure we can get our money back too! So we do our best to make sure that doesn't happen by checking out who we are lending to!
