Get ready for the climb of your life at this year's TOOT festival in Lewisburg. As always, there will be entertainment for all ages at the 2014 festival. From musical and theatrical performances to kid friendly foods and amusements, there will be many attractions to enjoy while festival goers sample the best fare in the region.
Live music is featured on three stages all day long. Performers slated for this year’s festival include: John Wyatt, Robin & Doug, Matt Evans, Hans Creek Band, Davis & Elkins Appalachian Ensemble, Butch & The Whitewalls, GEHS Choirs, Lewisburg Elementary 5th Grade Choir, GEHS Spartan Band, and Valley Dance Studio.
T.O.O.T crowd favorite, El Gleno Grande returns. Specializing in visual comedy using optical illusions, a vaudevillian style, and a warm conversational delivery, his spoof of a circus equestrian act will have you rolling in the street with laughter. Performance artist Cari Cohen will once again captivate crowds with her spectacular fire and light poi spinning performance. Poi is a unique form of performance art from New Zealand that involves swinging tethered weights through a variety of rhythmical and geometric patterns. Don't miss this gracefully choreographed show performed live on the Carnegie Hall Stage.
Children will find several activities, exhibitions, playgrounds and food, all created with them in mind. "Kid's Stops" are located throughout T.O.O.T for the young to enjoy. From bouncy houses, fall festival games, pumpkin and face painting, the climbing wall and Euro Bungee, there's something deliciously fun around every corner.
Bring your family, friends, and your appetite for great food and fantastic fun on October 11th at T.O.O.T in Lewisburg, WV.
