The community was built by Miller and Smith a well know builder in Northern Virginia and will celebrate it's 50th anniversary in 2017. The neighborhood is planning a big celebration and will bury a time capsule for future generations. As a resident of Wessynton one of the best features of the homes are the windows! If you are a nature lover and enjoy seeing an ever changing display of mother nature look no further than Wessynton! The upper level back windows in the bedrooms are also over sized.

There is always something happening near by at Mount Vernon Calendar of events 2016 this fall we can expect  Oktoberfest Celebration's in the community and at Fort Belvoir.

The beauty of living in the community is you can enjoy the events at the Mount Vernon estate which  is just a short walk through the neighborhood. No need for the car so go and enjoy the wine festival and walk home!
