It’s beginning!! The Christmas craft fair season is here, actually been here for a bit. I love the Made in Hawaii festival at the Blaisdell, but it’s over. There are upcoming fall fairs in October that will also include crafts and art for the Holiday season.
There are several in Thomas Square that always are good for picking up ornaments for the Church Ladies ornament swap party. Christmas Artfest at Thomas Square, Honolulu off Beretania across from the Honolulu Museum of Art, features 75-100 artists and handicrafters, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 10-11.
Try the November 29th Holiday Craft Fair at Hawaiian Mission Houses, 553 S King St., Honolulu, for one-of-a-kind and Island-made crafts; it’s free between 8:30am-3pm. There are many others in the towns and neighborhoods all over the island of Oahu and on the neighbor islands.
