McGrew

This was the look I received this week when I told McGrew that he had to go see Dr. Jack Miller, DVM. McGrew was due his rabies vaccine plus he needed a pedicure. LOL ... those nails of his were weapons. He always sits down like this and looks at me when he does not want to do something.

McGrew is the sweetest boy, but hates to ride in the car. I think he fears he is going to be dumped once again. Before we adopted him he had been adopted and returned many times. He needs to have no fear for he is home and here to stay. We absolutely adore him.

If you are looking for a great pet ... definitely check your local shelters, the pound and breed specific rescue groups. You will save a life and the love that your receive in return is the best.

Hi Belinda Spillman ... they actually had to hold him down to trim his nails. I could hear them riding him around in their back office. He weighs over 90 pounds and is so strong. He was ready to get back in the car to head home.

Hello Judith Parker, McGrew probably does fear the car ride from the past. Brandy use to fear the car but we got her use to it, so now she never knows if it just a ride for joy or the VET!

Judith, We have found our dogs and cats in boxes in front of big box stores or in the local shelter and they have all been the BEST. I hope McGrew realizes he is at his forever home!

Awww, McGrew is adorable Judith! I had 'The Boys' to the vet today and Angus, our rescue was shaking the whole time. I know those trips can make those shelter dogs a bit anxious. Glad he had his pedi and went on his way!
