Spring is my favorite time of the year. Springtime represents life to me...trees are budding, flowers are blooming, people are buzzing....there are tons of things to do including home & garden tours and festivals. A lot of people like Fall because the weather cools down after a hot summer. However, I see it as death because everything starts to die outside. I was thinking this morning that the real estate market has changed with the seasons this past year. Last Fall is when we saw the downfall of the mortgage industry which in turn immediately affected the real estate market. The market was in limbo through Winter. However, I am now seeing some positive results as Realtors and sellers are becoming more realistic in pricing and terms, and more buyers out now seeking the fruits of Atlanta's first buyer's market in a loooong time. I hope these trends continue through the Summer and maybe Fall will be a time of relaxation and enjoyment this year.
