"It's the little things that make the big experience." -- Robin Sharma
As part of breathing new life and inspiration into my professional and personal life, I've been spending time each morning viewing or reading something that inspires me. In order to give the best, you have to work to be the best. Which led me to Robin Sharma.
In case you're not familiar with him, Robin Sharma is a business and leadership training expert, as well as a writer and motivational speaker. He has published a number of motivational and instructional books and continues to be the "Merchant of WOW!" His vlog can be found on YouTube, and it's rich with inspiring and educational topics that have helped me take a hard look at areas that need improvement, as well as how to go about it.
This short video is refreshing for the beautiful scenery, but also the story he shares about the essential components of truly world class customer service. Take a moment and watch!
Look him up on YouTube, there's nothing like taking a quick break in a challenging moment to grab some inspiration, motivation, and guidance to keep pushing through.
As a real estate professional, my primary focus is SERVICE! Patience, passion, commitment, and determination are all essential traits of providing top notch real estate services. When Robin arrived at the resort, he spoke with the general manager who told him, "It's the little things that make the big experience." As Robin shares in this video, the resort that he is staying in has a small book of core values carried by each employee. My favorite:
"Our guests arrive as residents, leave as friends, and return as family."
How perfect is that? I would like for my clients to arrive with real estate needs that I can serve as well as or better than any agent in my market. Close their transactions leaving them satisfied that they've experienced the best possible outcome. And return with their future real estate needs, confident that they've found a committed professional that will serve their needs with excellence.
