Tulsa OK’s Pumpkin Festival
The annual Pumpkin Festival is back in Tulsa OK all month long. The Pumpkin Festival is a harvest celebration held at Shepherd’s Cross, an authentic working farm, just north of Claremore OK on Scenic Route 66. You can come to the farm and enjoy the peace of a few hours spent in the country. It’s wholesome fun for the entire family that includes a hay maze, festive outdoor & indoor games, Farm Animal Petting Barn, farm demonstrations and festive fall story time.
The farm is focused on educational, fall fun for children of all ages. You can enjoy truckloads of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes that are for sale, hay rides, a corn maze, farm museum, farm tour, a country gift shop, handmade and farm related gifts, a craft fair, gardening lessons, an educational farm silo and much more.
The Pumpkin Festival will proceed even in the case of bad weather. Many demonstrations will take place in the Amish built gambrel roof tour barn, which houses some of the animals as well as the wool processing, farm museum, games, hands on learning stations, story time and the gift shop. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited facility, a Made in Oklahoma Company, a member of the Claremore Farmer’s Market, an Animal Welfare Approved sheep farm, a producer for and distribution site for the Oklahoma Food Co-op.
Package deals are available - $5 & $6 & $8 – includes hayride, all activities & a pumpkin to take home - sizes vary with package. Donations are accepted; $3 per person suggested donation. • Hayrides are $5.00 per person; children one and under are free.
