The owners - Dave and Domenica Frankland - each come from an impressive wine background. Dave, born in Dubin, worked in various bars and hotels in Dublin, Scotland, France, and Spain, and ultimately found himself contributing to the banqueting department of the prestigious Gresham Hotel in Dublin. Domenica was born in Italy and moved to New York when she was just a year old. Her experience began as a manager at i Trulli, her brother's restaurant in New York City. You may have heard of i Trulli, as it boasts one of the largest exclusively Italian wine lists in New York. Dave and Domenica began their relationship bonding over wine classes, and eventually made their love affair with wine more official by receiving their certificate from the International Wine Center in New York.
Fast forward to 2011, and the Franklands decided to move to Palm Beach in efforts to find a more suitable location in which to raise their family. Shortly thereafter, Domenca's sister opened VINOUTLET in Florence, Italy. This uniquely designed store has an average of 15 different wines at any given time laid out on pallets. The goal of this store is to bring new and interesting wines to the market at an affordable price.
The Franklands found this idea charming, and decided to tailor it to the Palm Beach market. Almost half of the stock at Palm Beach's VINOUTLET has never before been made available in Florida. The flavors are imported from Italy by Domenica's brother. While there are many familiar tastes, many will be uncovered for the first time by customers.
In addition to the domestic and unique to Italy wines that are imported to Palm Beach, the store also houses Champagne, Bordeauxs, and even craft beers.
Each Friday from 4:30-6:00 pm, the store hosts wine tastings so that the public can experience this completely unique and Italian experience
