i felt the need to get my blog on today.

i've been slowly realizing how many people are totally uneducated about credit.  People need help and that's what we're here for.

People need education on what to do and how to do it.

so many people are in the position that they can't buy a home now...but if they could just stay motivated to get their credit fixed.

How do you keep someone motivated? especially someone who already doesn't make a lot of money as it is. they don't want to pay off past collections.

any ideas?

Motivation is the toughest part.  You can encourage, but they have to find it in their own time...I send out newsletter, post blogs, send emails and chat with people about it all of the time.

Jacqui. There is a way to keep them motivated. That is to help them with their credit. I help alot of people raise their scores so they can get into a home. As far as their collections, their are ways that they can reduce what is owed so they can settle. I have some good ideas for you to tell your clients. Let me know if I can help. Thanks, Royal..

Keep them involved! I know I work for a credit repair company and most people dont trust us but one way we keep people motivated is to keep them involved. Our customers and mortgage officers get regular email updates. The have three things they have to do per our agreement on our program.

No new accounts unless they talk to us first.

No new late payments on anything.

Get the paperwork back to use as soon as they get it.

One thing we do is throw graphs and other things that can show them exactly how much bad credit is hurting them.
