Everyday I saw patterns
panoramic history
extensive rolling hills
valleys below
my window
patterns
Patterns repeat themselves
in history as in life
Decades come and go
My mind travels
Through adversities
Opportunities
Challenges
Sickness
And in health
I pray
Wars make no sense
Disease destroys
Poverty diminishes
Diversity is unbalanced
Political unrest remains
People come and go
It's the same old pattern
history repeats itself
When will we ever
Or will we never
learn
