If you are of my generation and grew up listening and watching George Burns, the play Say Goodnight, Gracie At The Ivoryton Playhouse, In Ivorton, CT. is a must see. Say Goodnight, Gracie was the third longest running solo performance show on Broadway, and now it will be here in Ivoryton, Connecticut from October 29th to November 16th.
George Burns "was one of the few entertainers whose career successfully spanned vaudeville, film, radio, and television", and made audiences laugh for eight generations. I will never forget how he would light up a cigar, and calmly proceed to make me laugh until my side hurt.
The play Say Goodnight, Gracie At The Ivoryton Playhouse, In Ivorton, CT., will not only be a great opportunity to bring back memories of one of my all time favorite comedians, but also an opportunity to laugh until it hurts again.
