Nick generally covers most of the projects out of our Cadott office of Woodland Management Service but this week I will be working over here while he handles a few projects at our Stevens Point office.
So while I am here it may be a good thing to cover a few things that you always wanted to know about Cadott.
One little business that I have admired for a while is a local farmer and woodland owner who created a thriving business using a concept known as agrotourism, Cabin Ridge Rides.
Rusty Gilles started this in 1988, just about the time that we opened our office North of Cadott, and it has been thriving ever since then.
Rusty started out with a team of horses, giving people a unique experience taking a wagon ride through the woods along with a tasty meal over the camp fire.
He then grew his business into a major event planning organization where people hold weddings and other large family and company events.
The company is now run by Rusty's son Mark, give him a call and get ready for a fun day or event in the woods of Cadott Wisconsin.
