Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad Pumpkin Patch Express October 2014
Halloween is coming and the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad has just the ticket to put a smile on your kid's face for October! Combine pumpkins with a train and what do you get? LM&M's Pumpkin Express running weekends in October!
The leaves have already started turning and falling and the weather has cooled, so we know it's time to shift gears and start enjoying a different kind of outside activity! Here's a chance to ride the train and pick out a SMALL pumpkin at Schappacher Farm Barn when the train stops there! And you can buy a larger pumpkin while you're there if you've got the muscles to carry it back on the train! And if you get one too big to heft around, you can make arrangements with Schappacher Farm to come back later!
They'll also have a petting zoo and a corn maze to enjoy during the 75 minute layover at Schappacher Farm! You've got all the elements of a perfect fall day! Overall, allot 2 hours & 45 minutes for this train ride.
Pumpkin Express Trains run all October Saturdays & Sundays AND Saturday November 1st with departures at 9:45 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., boarding 10 minutes prior to departure.
Tickets are $18.50 for Adults, Seniors and kids 5-16 are $15.50, Toddlers 2-4 are $8.50, and under 2 are free. You can purchase tickets online at the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad website (click the link) or by calling 513-933-8022 x101. Advance ticket purchase is HIGHLY recommended as sell outs aren't uncommon for this popular event!
The LM&M Station, Ticket Office and Gift Shop is located at 127 South Mechanic in downtown Lebanon, just a couple of blocks from the Golden Lamb. On street and municipal lot parking is available within a short distance of the station.
So all aboard for your train adventures!
