I have to admit that reaching the top 200 spot in Active Rain was not one of my goals, and I was certainly surprised when I checked the Leader board this morning after seeing Debbie Reynold’s Post on our Top Three Bloggers. I checked in at No 199, and I remember how I felt when I did set personal goals to move up that leader board in my own city. Many of us in the Rain are very competitive, and we are breaking milestones all the time.
We blog for points, for business, for networking, or just for the Fun of it. Whatever your reasons for blogging, it’s certainly can be rewarding to reach various milestones in our AR community. How well I remember my first year, and I celebrated breaking my first 100K points, and it placed me within the top 50 of my city. That’s when I made it a personal goal to past that 500K mark to take over the Number One spot in San Antonio.
Looking back, it was fun and exciting to reach all those early goals, and now I see I have other goals that I can reach soon. I am very close to reaching my 1000 posts in the Rain, and not far from reaching 800K. I know if I get my blogging Mo Jo going again that I can be in the Millionaire Point Club soon too. But, the most important thing for me all these years are the relationships I have gained with networking with members from all over the country. I would encourage anyone, who is not an Active Rain Member to join our ranks, and see what blogging can do for you and your business. Become a Rainmaker Today! It’s still one of the best business decisions I have ever made in my real estate career.
