Do you have tuesday morning meetings at your office? Are they valuable to you? It seems like they are for the newer more inexperienced agent and it is a rah rah session for the top producing agents in the office, which half the time are not even in the office. We started doing meetings once a month and when we do one, we talk about the # of listings, showings etc as an office, but never about the same top producer. Maybe that gets the newbies all jacked up and inspired, but I don't know what it does to the middle of the road who actually are the ones making the brokerage money. We also talk about current events and what is going on in the marketplace and we also bring marketing ideas and more things to save money or make money. It is very good information and we also serve a hot breakfast. Let me know what you do for your meetings.

Maybe some more educational meetings might better serve you. As a title rep in CA we often go to office meetings with ideas and information that would help an agent grow their business. Just a thought!

Hi Jason...you commented on my "kick your butt" blog so I thought I'd check out your site and blog...........Sales meetings....?........Let me grab my Mary Poppins bag....grin.... a couple of ideas:

Pick a realtor each week to lead 5-10 minutes of your sales meeting - some are leaders in the making;

I found prizes - funny funky and inexpensive......for mini contests...........and every couple of months a bigger prize for a larger contest.......

Invite speakers (and have them donate a gift to be raffled - or part of a contest)  Actually we had sales people in other related industries call us and ask to give 'talks'.......and then we'd ask them to bring a door prize (believe it or not it encouraged realtors to come - everyone wants something for free, even realtors.........I guess your 'breakfast' works that way too?

Have a suggestion box idea :  where realtors can drop of 'meeting ideas'.....

Hope it helps - nice connecting!  Liz

Maybe if you discussed something worthwhile, these meetings would be more productive.   If you find yourself discussing the latest of your properties that have gone into forecolosure, you are wasting your time.

It's better to avoid discussing what you have done to other people's neighborhoods.   It is, after all, ALL ABOUT YOU!

Make your Tuesday Morning Meetings a strategy session for how to clear your good name, and to start using ethics in your business practices.   Your "scorched earth" mentality about realty has done nothing to improve your status as a human being, nor to get you out of the debt you have incurred.
