Yeah, I was looking the same way you are looking right now when a good friend and investor was at my house watching the Cubs open the 2008 Baseball season. He had just got off the phone with a realtor in Gary Indiana( Gary is 26 miles from Chicago) of whom he had just bought 3 properties and was in the process of buying more. When he got off the phone, he was asking me if I was getting a lot of business in Indiana. I told him yes, but it wasn't selling properties, it was helping people that were going into foreclsures! He mentioned to me something that I had never taken into consideration. All of these homes in NW Indiana that are going into foreclosure are going to be bought by the Government if people don't buy them first. I am still sitting here looking dumbfounded trying to understand what was so special about the declining market known as NW Indiana. He said, In 8 years, you'll be thanking me for this information that you will never get on the news because it's more important for the media to talk about the negative impact of foreclosed properties while the public goes unaware of what's really going on. He went on to tell me that his friends who work closely with "The City of Chicago" and Mayor Daley are putting together groups of investors to begin the process of buying as much real estate within 50 miles of Chicago in order to accomodate the Olympics in 2016! Chicago is a finalist and has the support of Michael Jordan, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and many other notable people that are lobbying to get the Olympics to Chicago. Several influential Chicago Olympic backers are making a great case to United States Olympic Committee Chairman Peter ueberroth to be included on the short list that will be announced in June 2008, and if included in the short list, this will begin the process! After the announcement in June, there will be a major splurge of property from the hand picked investors to purchase as much property as possible in order to Beautify the outlyng Chicagoland area in anticipation of the official announcement of the winning city on Oct. 2 2009.

Now that's some priceless information! 8 years seems like a long time, especially purchasing it now and you might not hit the lottery until the Olympics arrive. But the way my friend is thinking, the more property you have, the more investors with Government and city funds will be seeking you, thus bringing your big payday a lot closer to 2009 than to 2016. You make the call, I just thought I would share that with the community. 98% of you in the community are smarter than me, and you can call your investors or not to make moves. I live kinda close to NW Indiana, and it just doesn't look like Gold to me whenever I drive there to try to win the Powerball Lottery when it gets above 100 Million bucks. But I am in the process of getting a client done on a 3 bedroom, 2 bath,2.5 car garage on a full 1/4 acre lot for an unbelieveable 30,000.00. That's half of what I paid for my car! Would Chase take my car for trade for 2 of these properties(LOL)?

Do your own investigations, but this information is just good to know, especially because when the media starts reporting Chicago making these transactions, it will be too late for people like me who's dollar doesn't stretch as far as Gov. funds, or even less against Jordan backed investments!
