The Shop Manalapan 1st program is launching today, October 15th. The cards will be active for residents and businesses beginning November 1st.

There will be a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at 8pm in the Courtroom explaining the program and card will be distributed. Additional card distribution will also be held on:
Saturday, October 18th from 9am to 11am – Town Hall Courtroom
Wednesday, October 22nd from 1pm to 4:30pm – Town Hall Courtroom
Sunday, October 26th from 9am to 11am – Town Hall Courtroom
According to the township, "The Shop Manalapan 1st Program will promote local shopping while allowing card holders the opportunity to reduce their property tax bill. Shoppers will earn property tax credits every time they provide the Shop Manalapan 1st Property Tax Reward Card at the time of purchase at a participating merchant. The tax credits will be applied to the property tax bill or in the case of a renter, a rebate check will be issued. Individuals who work in Manalapan, but are not property owners within the Township, can also secure a card to earn the rebate as well."
