Book Recommendation: Unwilling Accomplice by Charles Todd
Charles Todd is the author of the Bess Crawford mysteries, the Inspector Ian Rutledge Mysteries and two stand alone novels. A mother (Caroline Todd) and son writing team, they live in Delaware and North Carolina, respectively.
A recent book, Unwilling Accomplice (2014) is a Bess Crawford mystery. Dolores and I really enjoy these novels. They are like comfort food for the mind. Bess Crawford is a World War I battlefield nurse and the setting for this novel is wartime France and England. A patient in her charge goes missing after being decorated for gallantry by King George and murders follow as Bess Crawford untangles the mystery with her friend Simon Brandon.
The next Bess Crawford Mystery for our reading list is The Maharani's Pearls, a newly released novel.
This is a list of the Charles Todd novels that I have read.
