We have also seen a drop off Florida, and this is typically the start of our busy season with the snowbirds on their way down. We are coming off an unusually busy summer, so it appears there are new norms to establish. Thanks for posting!
Tallahassee (Florida) never did get over the crash. Buyers have so many choices here. Almost one half of the houses in the MLS never go under contract!

This is based off of the infrastructure as europe. In europe people dont have SS# and per the appraisals we pull tax records from the prior yr.
We qualify our loans based on one simple criteria which we find the only one that truly matters in banking. Can our borrower afford the obligation that we give them? We custom build each loan per the client. No need for days, weeks of underwriting. We request last 2yrs of tax returns and last 3 months of banks statement coupled with VOE. From there we will provida loan offer. No 35 pages 1003 our typical loan start to finish closes with 10 pages. Please ask any and all questions and visit WWW.PROMOFUNDINGPARTNERS.COM

I was talking with an agent today that advised she is emailing clients telling them of contiued GREAT RATES!! Why would you wait??? Not all buyers are responding. I too wonder WHY? We just have to educate, educate, educate!
Our inventory is incredibly low so we are still seeing properties scooped up in just a few days.
