Washington has no state income tax and that makes it popular with both young families, and retirees. However, be forewarned, Camas does have some of the highest local taxes in Clark County. Those of us who live here don't mind. Those taxes pay for our top-rated schools and an abundance of parks and trails.
Breckenridge Neighborhood on Prune Hill in Camas, WA
Breckenridge sounds as if it's in Colorado, it's not. This community of new homes comes with the Lennar company promise of "Everything's Included." The "everything" includes the usual bells and whistles; gourmet kitchen with slab granite and GE® stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, Nexia Home Intelligence, a tankless water heater, hardwood floors, garage door openers, and more.
The neighborhood is located north of the Columbia River, minutes from charming downtown Camas and the Portland International Airport. Residents enjoy the highly rated Camas School District, nearby parks, trails, and lakes, and unique shops and eateries. In short, it has that all imporant aspect of location, location, location.
Homes range in price from about $420,000 to $680,000. The smallest home currently listed in the RMLS is a two level with 2360 square feet. It has a territorial view of trees, 4 bedrooms, 2.1 baths, and has a 3-car garage. And yes, the usual buyer wish list is included in the price.
The largest, and most expensive home currently for sale is 4209 square feet, with a river and valley view. It has 5 bedrooms, 3.1 baths, with an interesting configuration of a huge Master located on the lower level of the three story plan. There are two listings for this particular floor plan, the other also mentiones river views, but it is priced $20 thousand lower. The most expensive is priced just over $680,000 and the other is priced at $660,900. Something must be different!

Lennar is extremely active in the Camas new home market. They are also building at the Hills at Round Lake, and have purchased other land for future neighborhood home sites.
