Canyon Creek Subdivision 2014 Fall Festival ~A Major Success in NW Austin

Saturday, October 18, 2014, the much anticipated Canyon Creek Fall Festival was held at Trailhead Park! The weather was perfect and the families streamed in dressed in some really creative costumes! It was so fun to visit with so many past clients and neighbors!

Our new sign for the entrance and the Scarecrows and pumpkin cutouts for photo ops were designed by Jennifer Galle. Jennifer is a resident who works for Effective Sign Solutions in Cedar Park and donated her time and the HOA provided the materials.

The Fall Festival featured: photo opportunities, decorating sponge pumpkins, face painting, bouncy houses, “Chicken Express” offerings, Michael from the Capitol of Texas Zoo with his “Creepy Crawly Show,” games to play and of course the costume contests!! So many really imaginative costumes! Each group had winners for Most Original, Best Attention to Detail and Funniest..there was even a family category!

I love our community events..they wouldn’t happen without lots of planning and volunteers! Kudos to Jennifer Zimmerman for her efforts to coordinate the details so we can all enjoy this Canyon Creek Fall Festival every year !!
