Hi Kathy.  That sounds like a lot fun.  I would go to the Sassy Palate just because of the name.

Well, the only thing sold in our "green" markets these days is home baked breads, cakes, pies and some imported coffees.  Or, perhaps a few winter squashes or collards.

The great market in Hughesville is specializing in condiments and their recently expanded coffee/sandwitch bar.

Thanks goodness for Florida, Texas and California produce these days.

Hi Kathy -- we are fortunate that most of our Farmers Markets are held year-round but for those areas where they are not --- the arrival of the season is an important event.   Good local post that year-round and seasonal visitors will certainly enjoy knowing the details.

Conrad- I know, don't you just love the name!

Lenn- I can remember anxiously waiting for June in Leesburg so we could go to the local markets.  Lenn Harley

BARFF- it's a fun way to get fresh air and some locally grown fruits and veggies!

Michael- Thank you.  Our weather would permit the year round farmer's market if we could place huge fans outdoors!!! LOL

Oh my, has Delray Beach changed! It used to be the early bird specials and now, it's a greenmarket for great produce and ingredients to cook at home! YAY! The crowd must be getting younger.

So is it the opposite in Florida as to the Midwest and east Kathy? Since it is more snowbird season and also the beautiful Falls and Winters in Florida are your farmers markets thriving more now as our close?

Great photos.
