I think this part of Oswego Lake is so
beautiful. The way the trees run down the
slope all the way to waters edge is
undoubtedly scenic.
It reminds us of the Oregon Coast and how
countless evergreens run to the
Pacific Ocean.
The homes along Oswego lakes shore are
not only beautiful but also extremely $valuable$.
Appreciation is proven to reach over 800% since homeowners
purchased property in the 1980's and are now listing property in the millions.
Not a bad return!
Other investment that seems to produce valuable profit are smaller homes in
and holding onto the property for a period of time. Investors are renovating
the structure to standards generally sought after by buyers in the 2014 buyers
market. Some of the homes in the First Addition neighborhood were
originally built over 100 years ago and some need multi car garages, opened
up floor plans and new plumbing and electrical systems.
There are a few waterfront properties with good access to the lake and
affordable prices BUT they should receive extensive updates to become
honest to goodness investments.
Please let me know if you would like to take a closer look at what we're seeing developed in Lake Oswego.
