‘Tis the holiday season and buying things are a part of the fun. Sellers have the holiday spirit and there is a chance to snag up a piece of property at bargain price! The only thing is buyers are pretty busy with all the festivities.

With all of the shopping, decorating, family visits and parties, it’s hard to make time to shop for a house. If you would like to get a bit of an edge against competitors in the market to buy real estate, follow this tip of advice…

1st Reason: It’s a Buyer’s Market

Get Out There Home Shoppers! Make offers, because reason number one of the list, sellers are not getting a lot of them. You may get some decent savings on a bargain property!

2nd Reason: Sellers are motivated

The second reason to get out there and look for property is because some sellers are worried. Their property didn’t sell during the last high season for real estate, which makes them think their home will not sell. Homes listed for sale during the holiday season have home sellers that are motivated.

3rd Reason: You will get better services

Third on the list is better service. Real estate agents do not have a lot of buyers in the market, and time off isn’t a priority of most agents. This lull in business will ensure you get great service because there is less to focus on. Your offers will be taken more seriously, even if you low ball.

4th Reason: Interest Rates will not take the time off!

Interest rates do not take time off. They will continue to increase, so buying sooner than later is a must.

5th Reason: Appraisals will happen quicker and cheaper

There is an abundance of real estate appraisers and not enough work. Instead of having to wait a week at least for an appraisal, you will receive a scheduled appointment for the next afternoon. Fees are also less now than before.

Consider making some time in between all these holiday festivities and shopping trips to look for your new home, make offers, and take advantage!
