IT’S HALLOWEEN TIME IN DENVER, COLORADO

It’s time for all you ghosts and goblins to put on your best and scariest outfits and get out there and show them off!

There are 12 Haunted Houses in and around the Denver area this year.  They are as follows:

The 13th Floor Haunted House is voted the Scariest Haunted House in all of Colorado by MTV and is in the top 10 scariest by the Discovery Channel.  It is Denver’s Legendary Haunted House and is located at I-70 & Brighton Blvd, one block south of the coliseum.  They have all new attractions this year with Dwellings of the Dead, and Undead: The Possession.  Phone:  303-355-FEAR (3327).

Second on the list is Asylum Haunted House at 6100 E 39th Ave.  It is now over double the size, completely indoors and features the new Primitive Fear Haunted House at this same location.  Two Haunted Houses for the price of one!  Damp, dark, and musty and infested with endless screams of tortured souls.  Call 303-355-FEAR (3327).

The third is Undead:  The Possession Haunted House.  This is Denver’s newest haunted house and is an interactive experience.  This haunted house replicates an actual farm house and cabin in the woods.  It is where a paranormal investigation goes terribly wrong!  Admission includes admission to the 13th Floor Haunted House at the same location.  Again, two for the price of one!  Same phone number.

On to number four!  Primitive Fear Haunted House.  This one is returning with all kinds of new show enhancements.  You encounter the zombie virus inhabitants of an apocalyptic cityscape that have overrun the streets.  This is one of Denver’s favorite haunted houses and co-locates with The Asylum, second on the list.

City of the Dead at I-76 & 8th Ave. at Mile High Marketplace in Henderson is an intense haunted house experience but adds some fun with live entertainment, merchandise, food and drinks.  Over 15,000 square feet of zombie city themed scare rooms, city streets, and entertainment zones.  303-653-3188.

Field of Corpses has been terrifying the citizens of Arvada with what happened two hundred years ago during the Fall Harvest of 1801.  Neighbors still report seeing shadows of children walking around at night.  What is the mystery behind the disappearance of the White Family and what lies in the Field of Corpses?  13251 W 64th Ave. 303-423-FEAR!

7:  Fright Fest – Zombie Apocalypse – 2000 Elitch Cr. 303-595-4386.

8:  Haunted Field of Screams – 104th & Riverdale Rd. Thornton – 303-913-5947.

9.  Haunted Mines – Colo. Spgs. – 225 Old North Gate Rd. – 719-488-0880.

10.  Mausoleum Haunted House – 152 W Rafferty Gardens Ave. – Littleton

11.  Spider Mansion – 18301 W. Colfax Ave. – Heritage Square, Golden – 303-279-4646.

12.  Terror in the Corn – 6728 County Rod 3 ¼, Erie – 303-828-5210.

There you have it, all 12.  Dress up to make it even more fun and scary!  All these haunted houses are open now until Nov. 2nd with different hours depending on the day of the week but average start time is around 7:00 and they go to 10:00 during the week and 12:00 on weekends.
