April 2008 Black Hills Real Estate is doing just fine.

Hello Everyone,

You will be pleased to know that we are experiencing a good real estate market here in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  This includes towns and areas like Rapid City, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Mount Rushmore area, Custer, Sturgis, Spearfish, Hot Springs and others.

Our commercial property is going great guns as well. We have a Cabela's opening in the next year, over 6 new motels, 2 new shopping malls after only having one in Rapid City for over 30 years. Our gold mine has been chosen as the number 1 site for a new science lab being supported by our national government.  All sorts of good things are happening.

If you are looking for a 2nd home (vacation home) this is the perfect place.  Baby boomers by the dozens are discovering our perfect climate, millions of pine trees, lack of pollution, fresh oxygen filled air, lack of traffic and laid back lifestyle.

Hope you get to visit the Black Hills at least once in your lifetime and to those of you who have been here before........welcome back.

Duane Hosek
