Week 3, Day 5 of the Kitchen Remodel

By
Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Communities 303302

As I was typing in the Title of this blog today I realized that this post would have nothing at all to do with the kitchen remodel! Yesterday was all about the plumber continuing to put in new valves for the showers, and the bath fixtures and new toilet guts. That's a technical term.

We are putting Oiled Bronze fixtures in the master bath and the downstairs guest baths. The other two baths upstairs will be all brushed nickel fixtures. So far, valves are in on the guest bath and the upstairs bath right above it. All the fixtures are in as well. We have the master and the remaining bath upstairs to take care of.

The process is a slow one. The plumber is taking his time so that he does not damage any of the tile work in the baths that we do not intend to replace right now.

The tile guy is definitely coming Thursday to start on the master shower, the granite should be installed in the kitchen on Thursday, and the staircase guy is coming out Thursday to look over what we want to do to the stairs. I think next week could be very busy!

Funny how the kitchen remodel encompasses more than just the kitchen Peter.n Might as well get it all done at the same time.  :)
